Maine Democratic Senate nominee Troy Jackson raised $2 million in the two days after winning the nomination, his campaign said on July 27, as he enters a general election against Sen. Susan Collins (R-Maine), whose most recent federal filing shows about $11 million in the bank. More than 30,000 new donors have contributed since the nomination, and more than 58,000 unique donors have now given to the Senate campaign, according to the campaign.
